Mille Lacs Lake Ice Reports 12-8-2022
Took a whip around Mille Lacs today with Hawthorne's Guide Service and did some ice checking! Things are coming along nicely with the main lake starting to cap over, still not locked up but only a matter of a few days with our weather coming in! The bays have 6-11’’ of ice where we checked on the south and east side. Garrison bay just froze over this morning and will be building ice daily. Caution the main lake sheet is not locked yet so stay in the bays. Listen to the folks running the ice roads and check as you go!
